Looking at the settings of a Rydoo account, the admin can decide whether the user has the option to split an expense into two or more separate expenses.

If you want the split expense functionality to always create separate expenses, activate this option by going to Admin >  Advance Settings > under Expense Settings, check the box "Always create separate expenses when splitting an expense".

If you decide not to activate this functionality as an admin, a user will still be able to split an expense. However, in this scenario, the user will now have the option to choose whether to split the amounts within that same expense (soft split), or create separate expenses for each amount that was split (hard split).
