Using SuiteTax engine requires specific configurations, in order for the integrations to function.

Step 1: Verify Tax setup in NetSuite

  1. One Tax Group should be linked to only one Tax Code

  2. Tax codes will be synced to Rydoo

Step 2: Create customized Role

  1. Navigate to the Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles page

  2. Find the “Rydoo Web Services” role and click the “Customize” link

  3. Find the “Lists” tab

  4. Add the “Tax Details Tab” to permissions of the role, with edit permissions

  5. Save the changes

  6. A customized role will be created.

Step 3: Assign the customized role to an Employee

  1. Navigate to the “Employees” page

  2. Assign customized role to a user of the company (make sure the user is always active, we suggest creating an Integrations user in NetSuite. See here.

Step 4: Create an access token

  1. Navigate to Setup > Users/Roles >Access Tokens

  2. Create a new token using the customized role.

Step 5: Share the new access token

  • If integration is already set up between your NetSuite account and Rydoo account, please send a request to [email protected] email to update the connection.

Share the following data, mentioning the UPDATE:

Netsuite Account ID

Token ID

Token Secret

Rydoo Expense Report Internal ID

  • If integration is still not set up between your NetSuite account and Rydoo account, please follow the steps described in this article: NetSuite Integration: Set Up

Once all steps are followed send the following details to [email protected], requesting to set up the integration:

Netsuite Account ID

Token ID

Token Secret

Rydoo Expense Report Internal ID

Step 6: Sync Tax Rates to Rydoo

  1. Once you received the feedback from our team that the connection is configured you are ready to sync your Tax rates.

  2. Log in to your Rydoo account (admin role necessary)

  3. Navigate to Admin Settings > Integrations

  4. Enable "Tax syncing" checkbox

  5. Click on "Sync your Tax Rates" button

Note: Netsuite does not offer the feature to sync tax rates for USA subsidiaries (branches in Rydoo). Consequently, Rydoo is not able to sync tax rates to NetSuite as it's a limitation in Netsuite.
