The Bolt integration allows you to automatically create an expense from your business rides. All you have to do is add Rydoo as expense provider in your Bolt Work Profile and you are ready to ride.

To get started you can download the Bolt app in the Apple App store or Google Playstore to create a Bolt account.

Who can use this integration?

The integration is available for all clients that have a Bolt and Rydoo account.

How to connect Rydoo & Bolt?

  1. Open your Bolt app

  2. Go to your side left navigation and select Payment.

  3. Click on Set up work Profile or choose an existing one.

  4. Once you click on Create profile, you must fill in the same email address you're using for your Rydoo account.

The Company's details are optional, up to you to full fill.

5. Choose your payment method.
6. Select Rydoo as your expense provider
7. Verify your business email and enjoy the ride.


Are your rides not arriving in your Rydoo account?

  • Make sure the email you have entered in the Bolt app is the same as the email you use to login to your Rydoo account.

  • Make sure you have clicked the confirmation link in the email that Bolt sends when you setup Rydoo as your expense provider. You can resend this confirmation email from your Expense Provider detail screen in your Bolt Work Profile.

  • Check if your ride is completed. Only after your ride has been completed fully, the expense info will be sent to Rydoo.

  • When requesting a ride, make sure you have selected your business profile for that ride.

Which email address should I use?

When setting up your Work Profile, Bolt will ask you where they should send receipts to for your business rides. Here you have to fill in the email that you use to login to your Rydoo account.

Why do I need to confirm my email ?

To ensure privacy and prevent abuse, we ask users to verify their work email address to start forwarding receipts to an Rydoo. After verification, your receipts will be send both to Rydoo and your own email.

Do I receive a copy of the receipt from Bolt?

Yes, Bolt will send the receipt both to your work email and all necessary data to Rydoo. You no longer need to forward the receipts you received to Rydoo

What if my receipts are not arriving in my Rydoo account?

Make sure that you have included the same email address you use to log into your Rydoo account and also, you have also clicked the confirmation link sent by Bolt. The expense will automatically be created right after the ride is completed only. Please, check if you have selected the business profile for that ride.

Which fields will be filled in when a ride becomes an expense?

After your ride is finished, we will receive the following data fields from Bolt:

  • Date

  • Amount

  • Merchant

  • Currency

  • Receipt attachment

How to disable the Bolt integration?

You can disconnect Rydoo from your business profile following the steps below:

  1. Go to the side left navigation and select "Manage work profile."

  2. Click on the trash bin icon on the upper right and delete your profile.
