If you receive an error message "This category doesn't belong to your connected accounting software. Please check the source of the categories in your company settings," it is an indication that the category source is not associated with your Exact Online..

To resolve this issue, we suggest checking the category Source in Rydoo. Navigate to Admin, select Categories under FIELDS, and review the Source. The source should be Exact.

To change the source to Exact. You need to login to your Exact Online. Go to Master data > Overview | G/L Accounts. From here, you can add a new G/L Accounts. 

IMPORTANT: The Exact account should have the ” Profit & Loss” type to be imported to Rydoo.

After making adjustments, it is important to disconnect and reconnect to Exact, then synchronize again to ensure that the data is synced correctly.
