Access SFTP folder via FileZilla

SFTP or Secure File Transfer Protocol is a network protocol that provides completely secure access, transfer, and management of data files programmatically. And this article will show you how to access your folders via FileZilla.

 

NOTE: FileZilla is a free and open-source, cross-platform FTP application. Before proceeding, ensure that you have FileZilla downloaded on your computer. Full details can be found here.

 

Access the folder

  1. Open the FileZilla application and go to the Site Manager
  2. Choose New Site
  3. Enter your server details and click Connect.


    Important    ! Your Customer Success Manager will provide you with server details such as Host, Port, Username, Password, and Fileprefix (company prefix). Feel free to reach out to support@rydoo.com if you have questions about your credentials.
  4. When connected, FileZilla will give you a successful directory listing status and you should be able to access your IN and OUT folders.
