Once you're connected, the easiest way to confirm everything works is to just ask something. Haven't connected yet? See Connect your AI assistant to Rydoo.
Your first prompt
Try:
"Show my unsubmitted expenses from last month."
Natural language works, so you don't need to know the "right" phrasing. If something doesn't work the first time, reword it or ask the assistant what it can do with Rydoo.
Example prompts to try
ℹ️ What you can ask depends on your role in Rydoo and on which modules your company uses, so not every prompt below will apply to you.
Your own expenses
- "Show my unsubmitted expenses from last month."
- "Why was my Berlin hotel expense rejected?"
- "Which expenses from my Berlin trip are still missing a receipt?"
- "Which card transactions from last month have no receipt or invoice yet?"
- "Which of my expenses are pending approval?"
- "What are non-reimbursable expenses in our expense policy?"
- "Can I expense a €500 meal in France?"
Approvals and team spend (approver, controller, director or finance user)
- "What's waiting on me?"
- "How much was spent by my team in the last week?"
- "Create a spend summary by project (or trip)."
- "Approve the taxi expense from Marta's Lisbon trip."
- "Reject Tom's client dinner. Show me the reject reasons first."
Policy
- "What are non-reimbursable expenses in our expense policy?"
- "Can I expense a €50 meal in France?"
Tips
- Be specific about dates, status, or trip to narrow the results.
- If a question returns nothing, try rephrasing or broadening the timeframe.
- Ask the assistant "what can you do with Rydoo?" to discover more.
- If a prompt would change something in Rydoo — approving an expense, or requesting a card — the assistant shows you what it plans to do and asks you to confirm before it acts.
- If the assistant says it can't do something listed here, you may be on an older set of tools. See Troubleshoot Rydoo MCP issues.
