Multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds an extra security layer to your Rydoo account. This helps protect your account, even if the password is compromised. MFA is required for all Rydoo users with the Admin role.
After entering your password, youโll need to confirm your identity with a one-time code from a general-purpose authenticator app.
Note: If youโre using Single Sign-On (SSO), you wonโt need to complete MFA.

Supported authenticator apps
Rydoo supports any solution that uses the time-based one-time password (TOTP) protocol. This includes authenticator apps, browser extensions, and hardware tokens, as long as they support TOTP.
Examples include:
- Microsoft Authenticator
- Google Authenticator
- Any other TOTP authenticator app
Set up MFA
If MFA is required for your account, Rydoo will ask for setup at your next sign-in.
- Go to app.rydoo.com and enter your email address and password.
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app.
- Enter the six-digit code shown in the app and confirm.
MFA only needs to be set up once. Once done, signing in requires the password and the current code from the authenticator app.
If you lose access to your authenticator app
If the device with the authenticator app is changed or lost:
- Sign in with the email address and password.
- On the verification screen, select Lost phone? below the Verify button.
- Check your email for the MFA reset link.
- Follow the link and set up the authenticator app again.
Enable MFA for all users
By default, MFA is required for Admins only. If an user stops being an admin after having admin rights, they will still be prompted for MFA.
To apply MFA to all users in your Rydoo company account, please contact your Customer Success Manager or submit a request.
