Rydoo allows limiting custom fields to specific branches, categories, and roles. This means that you can make a custom field appear based on the selected category, branch, or role a user belongs to.
The new feature of limiting custom fields to branches and categories is available within our enterprise subscription plan and will help simplify the handling of expenses for your end users in terms of simplicity and compliance.
E.g. certain custom fields only need to be shown for particular categories
Here are the steps to limit custom fields:
1. Go to Admin settings.
2. Go to the Custom fields page.
3. Select the custom field you want to edit.
4. Navigate to the Details tab.
5. Click Edit under the Limitations section.

- A custom field cannot be made required while being limited to specific branches or categories.
- A custom field cannot be limited to branches and to certain roles (the combination is not possible).
- The custom field limitation will only be visible to personal users.
