Description (optional)
3. You will see a pop-up asking you to fill in your phone number. When you make an online payment with a Rydoo card, you could receive an SMS message with a code to authorise the transaction. This is the reason why you need to make sure to have a valid phone number filled in.
View card details: number, CVV, expire date
1. Go to the Cards module and select the relevant card.
2. For security reasons, you will need to enter a verification code.
3. By selecting ‘Show details’, you will see the card details.
Card number: Copy the card number by clicking the ⎘ button highlighted below.
Valid thru: The date until when your card is valid.
CVV: 3 digit number required for online transactions.
Name on the card: The company or person to whom the card is issue.
Address: Address associated with the card.
Make a payment with 3D-Secure authentication
Some merchants may require additional 3D-Secure (3DS) authentication to complete a transaction. For these cases, an SMS from Stripe/Airwallex may be sent to your phone to confirm the purchase. You may need to enter the SMS code and identify a transaction.
Troubleshoot 3D-Secure authentication
The verification code (OTP) was entered incorrectly
You received a 6-digit code via SMS, but the payment still failed.
- Double-check that you are entering the code exactly as received — no extra spaces or digits.
- Codes expire quickly (usually within 5 minutes). If it's expired, request a new one rather than re-enter the old code.
- Make sure you are entering the code for the correct transaction — if you triggered multiple payment attempts, you may have received multiple codes.
The verification code never arrived
You were prompted for a code, but the SMS did not come through.
- Check that your phone number is up to date in the Rydoo user profile. The OTP is sent to the mobile number that is saved in your Rydoo user profile. If you have changed phone numbers, update the phone number in your Rydoo profile.
- The network operator has blocked automated SMS. Check with your network operator if they have applied automated SMS filters and ask to unblock the senders “Airwallex” or "Stripe".
- Check signal and connectivity. A weak mobile signal or being on Wi-Fi calling can delay or block SMS delivery. Try toggling airplane mode on and off to force a network reconnect.
- Travelling internationally? Roaming restrictions can block SMS. Switch to a local SIM and make sure you are able to receive SMS while abroad.
- Wait and retry. OTP delivery can be delayed by 1–2 minutes during peak times. If nothing arrives after 2 minutes, retry the payment to trigger a fresh code.
The 3DS verification screen did not appear at all
The payment failed without ever showing you a verification prompt.
- Disable pop-up blockers. The 3DS page opens as a pop-up or redirect. Ad blockers and pop-up blockers can prevent it from loading. Try disabling them or using an incognito/private browsing window.
-
Try a different browser or device. Outdated browsers or certain extensions can interfere with the 3DS flow. Switching browsers (or using your phone instead of your desktop) often resolves this.
- Clear your browser cache. Cached data can sometimes conflict with the authentication redirect.
- It may be the merchant's issue. Some merchants do not implement 3DS flows correctly, which means the verification page never loads on their end. If the problem only happens with one specific merchant, this is likely the cause — try to contact the merchant directly.
Freeze, unfreeze, or terminate a card
1. Go to the Cards module and select the relevant card.
Freeze card
If you want to temporarily stop your card from being used, select ‘Freeze card’. Once your card is frozen, we will block all payments.
If you froze the card, you have the option to unfreeze the card or terminate the card entirely.
Terminate card
If you want to permanently stop your card from being used, select ‘Terminate Card'. All payments will be blocked. Please note that terminating a card disables it for future use and subsequent transactions tied to this card will be declined. This action is irreversible.
Request a new card limit (virtual card)
Note: For physical cards, please request your finance team to edit your card limit.
1. Go to the Cards module and select the relevant card.
2. Click 'edit' next to the card limit.
3. Fill in the requested new limit and the reason. Then click 'submit request'.
Activate physical card
To activate your physical card:
1. Select 'Activate card'.
2. Fill in the last 4 digits of your card.
3. You will see a pop-up asking you to fill in your phone number. When you make an online payment with a Rydoo card, you could receive an SMS message with a code to authorise the transaction. This is the reason why you need to make sure to have a valid phone number filled in.
Add a card to Apple or Google wallets
You can add both your virtual and physical Rydoo cards to Apple/Google Wallet on your mobile device by entering the card details manually.
Once you add your Rydoo card to your mobile wallet, you can use the card and pay with it wherever you see either the contactless or Apple/Google Pay symbol.

2. For security reasons, you will need to enter a verification code.
3. You will then be able to view the PIN.
Submit your expenses from Rydoo cards
When you pay with a Rydoo card, an expense is automatically created in Rydoo immediately. The amount, currency, date and payment method are already filled from the card transaction. You should just open the expense, add a receipt and potentially fill in additional required fields.
