You can assign conflict approvers and controllers in Rydoo. 

Conflict approvers/controllers are users that will approve expenses for the assigned approver when they submit their expenses. This avoids approvers/controllers having to approve their own expenses and instead redirects it to another user for approval. You can find out more about the Approval flow: overview. 

Example: Robert is assigned to the Sales group as an approver, however, he is also a member of the Sales group himself. When he submits his expenses, it has to go to his manager, Emma for approval.

Assign conflict approvers/controllers:

1. Go to the Admin Settings, toggle to the User Management section and click on Users

2. Select the user you want to assign as a Conflict Approver/controller, then toggle to the Account tab
3. Scroll to the Approver / Controller section and click on the +Add button

4. You can now choose whether the user will be a conflict approver or controller

NOTE: The conflict approver/controller is only applicable when approvers are assigned by group, project, branch or custom field.
