A user who is planning a business trip or went on a business trip, can create a trip in Rydoo. You can then link expenses and/or per diems to this trip. You will then have a collection of expenses incurred during that specific business trip. The Admin of an account can activate/deactivate this trips module.
Additionally as an Admin, you can choose to activate approval for trips. This would mean the trips a user creates also need to be pre-approved. Trips will follow the same approval flow as regular expenses. Trips will need to be approved before users can link expenses to the trip.
This article will explain how to activate approval for trips as an Admin.
1. Go to Admin settings.
2. Go to the Approval flow page.
3. Click Edit.
4. Check the checkbox of Trips. Don't forget to save
5. You can also enable controlling for trips. You can do this by checking the Trips checkbox as well in the Controlling section.
